Eula, as a child moved from Owen County to Covington with her parents by horse and wagon. She later returned to the "country" after marrying Whitt Moore in 1911 and went on to raise four children in rural Owen and Gallatin Counties. At the time of her passing she was the oldest living member ever at Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents & she was preceded in passing by two brothers, Calvert Jackson and Arthur Jackson; and two sisters, Mamie Drees & Beulah Jackson. She was survived at the time of her passing by all of her children: two daughters, Mabel Mabes and Gladys Cobb of Latonia; two sons, George Moore also of Rosedale Manor and Carl Moore of Taylor Mill; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Truly, one of the sweetest women ever to walk this earth has now strolled through the golden gates.
