Julia C. Gwathmey Bacon was one of the children born to George Clark Gwathmey and his wife Sophia Weston Garrard.

Julia was united in marriage in 1839 to William H. Bacon. Julia and William were blessed with the birth of at least two children during their marriage:

Ernest Bacon
George G. Bacon

Julia passed away at the young age of 27 years old. William passed away 7 years later. They are both interred with Julia's parents and siblings.

Their burial date is October 7, 1887, which appears to be the same burial date in this Section and Lot of some of her siblings as well. Julia and William and their son Ernest were apparently re-interred in Cave Hill.
