Ethel Rebecca Valentine was born in January of 1890, in Daysville, Frederick County, Maryland, the daughter of Albert Curtis and Lavinia Agnes Eyler Valentine. She married Floyd Main. It appears they had no children. Ethel passed away March 13, 1965, in York, York County, Pennsylvania, and was buried on the 17th in Prospect Hill Cemetery there.

"MRS. ETHEL R. MAIN. Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Ethel Rebecca Main, widow of Floyd Main, who died Saturday at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Main was born and spent most of her early life in Daysville, near Walkersville. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Agnes Eyler Valentine. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Lena Schroeder of York; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the Sleeger Funeral Home on East Market Street in York."
