TIMMONSVILLE - Services for Myrlene Hancock Lawrence, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Peniel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 this evening at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lawrence, widow of Louie B. Lawrence Sr., died Tuesday. Born in Florence Co., she was a daughter of the late Malrey Richardson and Allie Hicks Hancock. She was an active member of Peniel Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Louie Jr., Gerald, Lyn, Berwyn Lawrence; brothers, Charles, Hybert Hancock; sister, Shirley Teasley; five grandchildren.
