Shirley Hancock Teasley, 74, died on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was married to the late Rev. Dr. J. Garland Teasley. Shirley was the youngest child born to Allie and Malrey Hancock of Olanta, SC. She is survived by four daughters and four grandchildren. She retired from the Diocese of Rhode Island and was involved with the Episcopal Church in many capacities. She was most recently a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem. Her ashes were interred at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Windsor, NC.
