Arthur John Wacker, 74, retired Wilton banker, died of a heart attack, at 7:30 a.m. today at his home here.
A lifelong resident of Wilton, he was born the son of John and Maria Maurer Wacker on Oct. 31, 1887. He married Amelia Grunder at Wilton on June 3, 1920. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church.
Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Emily) Burr of Lone Tree, Mrs. Calvin (Marian) Schmidt of Durant and Mrs. George (Shirley) McClean of Moline, Ill.; one brother, Herbert Wacker of Wilton; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Zion Lutheran church, the Rev. John B. Nieman officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale cemetery.
Friends may call at Griffith Funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
