Romaine was born in Porters Sideling, on February 4, 1916, and was the daughter of the late Hamilton Senft and Mabel (Becker) Senft.
She was a homemaker and worked in retail sales in her later years. She was a longtime member of St. Peter Lischey's Church.
Romaine is survived by her son, Allen F. Haar of Hanover; her daughter, Darlene Miner and her husband, Steven of Spring Grove; her grandchildren, Allen Haar and his wife, Karen, Andrea Aloisio and her husband, Nicola, Jeffrey Haar, Julie White and her husband, Christopher; and her great-grandchildren Zachary and Sophia Aloisio, Isaac and Katelyn Haar. She is also survived by her sisters, Jennie Stambaugh, Edna Kemper, Leona Ernst and Helen Klinedinst; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Delores in 1944; her sister, Florence Keeney; and her brothers, Raymond Senft, Ervin Senft and Guy Senft.
A funeral service in celebration and thanksgiving for her life will be held at St. Peter Lischey's United Church of Christ, 5671 Lischey's Church Rd., Spring Grove, with the Rev Sarah Rentzel-Jones officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her husband in the church cemetery.
