Marcella C. Batzler, 82, of St. Kilian and rural Campbellsport, died Monday, March 15, 1993, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital in West Bend.
She was born Feb. 28, 1911, in St. Kilian, a daughter of Peter and Susan Kraemer Hurth. On June 7, 1932, she married Joseph Tom Batzler at St. Kilian Catholic Church.
Mrs. Batzler was employed for 23 years at Fireside Restaurant in Allenton, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and its Ladies Altar Sodality.
Survivors include one son, Gerald and his wife Grace of Campbellsport; two daughters, JoAnn Sippel and her husband Raymond, and Susie Batzler, both of Campbellsport; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mary Dietenberger of Hartford, Florence Bonlender and her husband Reynold of Kewaskum, Delores Boegel and her husband Reinhold of Allenton, and Cordell Kern and her husband Ralph of Kewaskum.
Preceding her in death were her husband on June 30, 1981, one granddaughter and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum and at 10:30 a.m. Frida for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kilian Catholic Church. The Rev. Victor Kemmer will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where a parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorials in her name may be directed to St. Kilian Catholic Church.
