JOSEPH BATZLER
Funeral services for Joseph "Tom" Batzler, 76, of the St. Kilian area, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller's Funeral Home, Kewaskum, and at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church where he was a member. He died Tuesday, June 30, 1981, at St. Agnes Hospital.
The Rev. Joseph McDonald and the Rev. Arthur Kalinski will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born at St. Kilian on March 27, 1905, a son of the late Jacob and Victoria Bonlender Batzler. On June 7, 1932, he married Marcella Hurth at St. Kilian.
Mr. Batzler was a retired farmer and truck driver for Baker Canning Co. at Theresa.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald of Route 3, Campbellsport; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Joann) Sippel of rural Campbellsport and Susan at home; eight grandchildren; a brother, Oscar of Lomira; and a sister, Miss Anna Batzler of St. Kilian. A brother, sister and grandchild preceded him in death.
