PETER HURTH

Peter A. Hurth, 92, St. Kilian's oldest resident, died at 5 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born on May 31, 1883, at St. Kilian, Tow of Ashford, and married Susan Kraemer at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira, on Aug. 18, 1908.

The couple farmed near St. Kilian until 1948, when they moved to the village where he was a lifelong member of St. Kilian Catholic Church. He was a member of Catholic Knights of Wisconsin Branch 113 of which he was secretary and treasurer for about 50 years.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs Mary Dietenberger of Hartford, Mrs. Joseph Batzler and Mrs. Reynold Bonlender both of St. Kilian, Mrs. Reinhold Boegel of Allenton and Mr. Ralph Kern of Kewaskum; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bernard Wondra of West Bend.

He was preceded in death by his wife on May 25, 1970, and by a son in infancy, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miller's Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Kilian church at St. Kilian. The Rev. Adrian Trost will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends of Mr. Hurth may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
