Bio and Links
Bio Photo To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die....

Transfer requests will be made within the Findagrave guidelines, for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please request transfers via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you - please include your relationship.

The "Suggest a Correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above transfer guidelines.

I am trying to update my memorials as time allows; creating links and adding obituaries. Many of my memorials were created before the link feature was available (about 2008).

Like everyone else, I do make mistakes. If you see that I've made one I have no problem correcting it if you bring it to my attention.

Please don't add a bio to the flower section of a memorial, simply send me the info you would like added and I will add it with proper credit to you if so desired.

If I have added a photo to a memorial of yours you wish me to remove, please let me know along with the memorial number for that person.

If you add a headstone photo to any of my memorial pages that is clearer than the one I currently have, please let me know and i will delete duplicate photos rather than clutter up the memorial.

Spending time on FAG is a lot of fun, but the best part is meeting so many wonderful people, like you. My daughter Courtney and I have been working together for 30+ years on our family's genealogy. Over the years we've discovered some exciting and unknown information on cemetery headstones. We really enjoy spending time wandering through cemeteries absorbing the history that they alone provide.

After finding out first hand how important headstone information can be we decided to record local information in the hopes that we would be able to help someone else. If you run into a friend or relative through our listings please let us know. I will be happy to make any corrections or additions you feel are necessary.

We may not have known each and every individual personally, but we are touched by each entry we have left and realize that our oneness is our common bond. May you find comfort and happiness each and every day of your lives.

Please stop by to leave a token for:

This was completely unexpected - but received with gratitude and wishes for all the best - perhaps our paths will cross yet again.

Thank you!

Hello Candice,

I guess Marcia did not like Irene so switched the name around. In the Bible of Daniel and Elizabeth she was named Irene Marcia. That Bible was passed down with James Perry Knight and for a couple of generations he kept it up. I no longer have access to it as the person that had it took the tree I sent her and posted it as her own work. So, I no longer giving it out. I will the Knight line but not the one on Elizabeth Wallace that goes back to England with a long line of Earls that stem from the Tudor/York lines. I have to write a lot of letters and suffer a few insults to get it. That line is confirmed however. Mary Tudor who was the sister of Henry VIII.

As for the Knight family, here it is and it is also confirmed thru tons of Quaker Meeting Books as each MM kept there own. I guess you already know that Giles Knight and his family came over with William Penn on the "Society.

The Cain family (my mothers) and 3 of the other families I have, Coy, Schnepp, Bingamon all lived in the same area around Beaver Creek, Greene Co., Ohio and I am related thru them too. Oh, I am from James Perry Knight as above. So this has been such a journey for me. lol

I know I am running out of room here so I will have to put the line in the next message.

Children of Michael & Dorothea Kline
Hi! I am also a descendant of Michael & Dorothea Kline. While you're descended through Gertraut, I am descended through Frenia who married Michael Quigley.

I recently received some documents, including a 1781 indenture, which list Michael's 14 children at the time of his death. I have written a couple of blog posts about him which you can see on my blog.

I'd love to talk! You can reach my blog here:

RE: Frank Wesley Miler
It would be great to correspond. We can use this forum, if you'd like to do so. That way, other relatives can chime in. Are you on That's where my family tree is, and it would be interesting to see how we're related. I can't remember what I asked you, specifically, but I'm interested in how John Wesley Miler's (Frank Wesley Miler's father) sister got the name Sierra Nevada. After John Wesley Miler died, his wife, Calista Jane Danner, married Albert Cooley and had many more children with him. I recently received a letter from a relative that Calista sent our ancestor, Frank. It was very touching, as she seemed to really love him, though she was married to his father only a short time before he died.
By the way, I live in California. I don't know where you're based, but I would love to get together with Miler relatives sometime. When Paul Miler was alive, I think he was instrumental in organizing Miler reunions in Osceola, Iowa.

Margaret Garvin
Do you have any information on Margaret Garvin (Find a Grave Number 14046508), buried in Manhattan Cemetery, Putnam County, Indiana? I am looking for information on a Margaret "Peggy" Sutton Garvin who married a John Garvin in Garrard County, Kentucky in 1811.

RE: Rebecca Martin Lambert
Thank you so so much on research and I will make a note in my book in reference to the 3 children. I am doing on Family Ancestor Book on The Lamberts & Allied families.

The children are noted in the Gindelberger Family Geneaology by David Gindelberger.
