Pearle was my husband's Grandaunt.

She was the daughter of Charles Robert FLETCHER & Harriet "Hattie" WANTY.

Her husband was Forest Adelbert BARDEN who she married on 14 Jan 1903, in Portage County, Wisconsin, USA.

Surviving Mrs. Pearle Barden of 928 Blaine street, who died Sunday at St. Michael's hospital, are four sons, Roy, Mundelein, Ill., Charles and Gerald, Amherst, and Franklin, Buena Vista; four daughters, Mrs. Wayne DeLong, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Thomas Lorek, Chicago, Mrs. Clifford Floistad, Amherst Junction, and Mrs. Otto Teschner, Amherst.

She is further survived by three brothers, 30 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Amherst Methodist church, with burial following in the Lower Amherst cemetery.

MRS. PEARLE BARDEN

Mrs. Pearle Barden, 69, 928 Blaine street, died Sunday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at St. Michael's hospital, where she had been a patient for the past seven weeks.

Mrs. Barden was employed at the Blaine street address as housekeeper for Pat Hopkins.

The former Pearle Fletcher was born Aug. 2, 1884, in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Fletcher. During her early childhood, she moved with her parents to a farm in the town of Buena Vista, spending the rest of her girlhood there.

In January 1902, she was married to Forest Barden and the couple lived afterward on a farm in Buena Vista until 1922, moving at that time to a farm in the town of Amherst.

They returned to Buena Vista in 1939 and Mr. Barden died there in 1942. Until three years ago, Mrs. Barden had made her home with a son, Franklin, in Buena Vista and since had resided at the Blaine street address.

Surviving are four sons, Roy, Mundelein, Ill, Charles and Gerald, Amherst, and Franklin, Buena Vista; four daughters, Mrs. Wayne Floistad, Amherst Junction, and Mrs. Otto Teschner, Amherst.

She is further survived by three brothers, Harry Fletcher, Wausau, Raymond Fletcher, Plover, Route 1, and Roy Fletcher, Milwaukee; 30 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Barden was preceded in death by two daughters, a son and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Amherst Methodist church. Rev. S.C. Knutson will officiate and burial will follow in the Lower Amherst cemetery.

Friends may call at the Jungers funeral home at Amherst from Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock until noon on Wednesday.
