Age 90, of Amherst, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his residence. Bud was born in the Town of Buena Vista on September 8, 1925, the son of the late Forest and Pearl (Fletcher) Barden. Bud attended Amherst High School leaving school as a freshman to tend to the family farm. On July 27, 1946 Bud married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the Town of Lanark. They lived on the family farm for 69 years where they raised their 10 children.
Bud started his career as a heavy equipment operator in 1951. He worked for AJ Pagel & Pagel Construction until his retirement.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jim & John Barden, a daughter-in-law, Peggy Barden and his brothers & sisters, Wayne & Rowena Barden, Mae Barden, Myrtle & Wayne DeLong, Roy & Pearl Barden, Charles & Leone Barden, Viola & Tom Lorek, Gladys & Clifford Floistad, Gerald & Esther Barden, Hazel & Otto Teschner and Lorraine Barden.
