She was married to Clifford A. FLOISTAD (1906-2001) on September 4th, 1935 at Benson Corner Parsonage in New Hope, Portage Co., WI.

Their children together were: Lou Ann, Gerald L. (1938-2002), Harold, Gladys and Sandra Kay (1948-1966) FLOISTAD.

Mrs. Clifford Floistad

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Amherst for Mrs. Clifford Floistad, of the Town of Amherst. The Rev. O. Paul Haugen will officiate and burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery at Amherst.

Mrs. Floisted died Monday at 7pm at St. Michael's Hospital. She was admitted at the hospital on Saturday. She had been ill for the past two years.

The former Gladys Barden was born on November 29, 1913 in the Town of Buena Vista, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Forest Barden. She lived in Portage County all of her life. On September 4, 1935, she was married to Mr. Floisted and they had been engaged in farming since.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Harold and Gerald, and two daughters, Sandra and Lou Ann, all at home; four brothers, Roy Barden, Mundelein, Illi., Charles and Gerald Barden, Amherst, and Franklin Barden, Town of Buena Vista, and three sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Myrtle) DeLong, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Tom (Viola) Lorek, Chicago, and Mrs. Otto (Hazel) Teschner, Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
