Death of Cora S. Boas
Nov. 19—After years of suffering from tuberculosis, life left the frail body of Cora Soden Boas at five o'clock Sunday morning. Mrs. Boas has been a brave sufferer and always looked on the bright side of life. She was a young woman, only 30 years of age. The family moved here [to Moira] from Mooers Forks a short time ago. The body was taken to Mooers tonight and the funeral will be held from the Methodist church at that place on Tuesday. Her mother, Mrs. C. M. [Celesta M.] Bates, of Mooers, was here for a few days before her death. She leaves, besides her husband, three little children, Fern, Leonard, and Donovan [sic, Donavon], who have the sympathy of the community in this, their hour of sorrow.
