WILLIAM T. SODEN
Mr. William T. Soden of Mooers Forks, 84, passed away Sunday, May 16 at the St. Albans Hospital in Vermont.
Mr. Soden was born June 10, 1891 in Mooers Forks the son of John and Celeste [sic, Celesta] (Emerson) Soden.
He was employed by Milk for Health, the Farm Bureau and Federal Farm Credit Association, and had been a farmer in Mooers Forks for many years.
Mr. Soden was a member of the Champlain Lodge 237 of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was also a member of the Mooers Senior Citizens, Good Fellowship Club.
He is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Ed (Frances) Brunkin of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and Mrs. Harry (Gail) Mabie of Philadelphia, NY; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 19 at Drown's Funeral Home in Mooers with the Rev. Joseph Babcock, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiating at the funeral services.
Bearers were Roger Trombley, Richard Trombley, Frank Trombley, Austin Lamberton, Walter Davison and Lawrence Gadway.
Burial was in Union Cemetery in Mooers Forks.
