Obituary from the Waconia Patriot newspaper dated Thursday, February 3, 1966:

Funeral services for Benjamin F. Bruhn were conducted on Saturday, January 29, 1966 at 2:00 p.m. at the Yetzer Funeral Chapel in Waconia with Reverend F. E. Kline, pastor of Minnetrista Baptist Church, St. Bonifacius, officiating. Interment followed in the Minnetrista Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Bruhn passed away on Thursday, January 27th, at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 16 days.

He was born December 11, 1892 at Minnetrista, Minnesota, a son of Charles and Anna Bruhn. He spent all the years of his childhood and youth in the St. Bonifacius community where he attended public school, church and Sunday school.

During World War I, he served our country in the European Operations for some three years.

Mr. Bruhn made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weiland, sister and brother-in-law, for 35 years.

Surviving are one brother, Charlie Bruhn and two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Olive) Weiland and Mrs. Mary Krotzer, all of St. Bonifacius.
