Obituary from the Waconia Patriot newspaper dated Thursday, January 3, 1980:

Olive Weiland, 75, of Minnetrista, died December 25th at Waconia Ridgeview Hospital. She was born January 6, 1904 in the Minnetrista area, the daughter of Charles and Anna Bruhn.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 1979 at Minnetrista Baptist Church in St. Bonifacius. The Reverend Fred Schoemaker officiated and interment was at the church cemetery. A prayer service was held Wednesday, December 26th at the Yetzer Funeral Home.

Survivors include, daughter, Mrs. Donald (Joyce) Langert of Maple Plain; son, Lamont Weiland of Mound; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also, brother, Charles Bruhn of the Lake Auburn Home at Victoria.

Casketbearers: Milton and LeRoy Bruhn, Dean Krotzer, James Gothmann, Arlan Pauly, Elroy Bergs and Thomas Weiland.
