Catherine was the youngest of five born to Franz Johann Feldewert and Katherina Ruhr. Married Henry Joseph Kruse 29 Oct 1919. They had 10 children, all raised in St. Paul. Catherine was widowed at 48 with 8 children still at home. But she was a strong woman and the family got through it and remained very close through the generations.
