Mr. Kruse was a retired manager for an automobile packaging plant. He also was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at All Saints Catholic Church, 7 McMenamy Road, St. Peters. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in St. Paul.
Among survivors are his wife, Ellen Jane Kruse of St. Charles; two sons, Terry Kruse of St. Peters and Randy Kruse of St. Louis; two daughters, Sue Barrett of Kirksville, Mo., and Patty Obrect of Kenosha, Wis.; eight sisters, Kathleen Cook, Pat Schone and Joan Krekeler, all of St. Charles, Ethel Cochran of Collinsville, Dorothy Garey of St. John, Jackie Mueller of St. Paul, Esther Swagman of O'Fallon and Lois Hamilton of Springfield, Ill.; a brother, Herry Kruse of St. Paul; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to Masses, preferred, or American Parkinson's Disease Association in care of Buchholz Mid Rivers Mortuary, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Mo. 63376.
