Mrs. Hilma Hermann 83, fomerly of Osceola, died November 10, 1971 at Hayward, California. Services were held 11 :30 a.m. November 13 at the Sorenson Brothers Mortuary and burial was at the Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward.
One of a family of nine children she was born September 17, 1888 in Saunders County, Nebraska to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Anderson. At an early age she moved with her family to the farm home east of Osceola now occupied by her brother Albert. In November, 1909, she was married to Lewis C. Herrmann. They farmed in the Osceola area and later moved into Osceola. Over 30 years ago, they left for Hayward to make their home.
Surviving are two daughters, LeVina Owen of Hayward and Irene Cremeen of Boulder, Colorado; five grandchildren. two great grandchildren. two sisters, Selma Peterson and Mary Gerdes both of Osceola, and three brothers, Albert and John of Osceola and Wilmer of Stromsburg. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964.
