COPENHEAVER – On February 22, 1928, at 11:20 p.m., at her home in Jefferson, Susan Elizabeth, beloved wife of W. O. Copenheaver, aged 66 years, 3 months, 1 day.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Sunday morning, February 26, at 9:30 at her late home, proceed to Jefferson Cemetery, where interment will be made. After interment concluding services will be held in the United Brethren Church at Jefferson.

Mrs. W. O. Copenheaver

JEFFERSON, February 23 – Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Copenheaver, wife of W. O. Copenheaver, died last night at 11:20 o'clock at her home at this place, aged 66 years.
Death was caused by paralysis. She had been ill a few weeks, but was able to sit on a chair and was not bedfast. She had suffered with dropsy and rheumatism.
Mrs. Copenheaver was the mother of 17 children, 11 of whom are living. They are: Joseph O. Copenheaver, 132 East College Avenue, York; William W. Copenheaver, 650 North Sherman Street, York; Nathan J. Copenheaver, at home; Samuel H. Copenheaver, 251 East Princess Street, York; Jesse J. Copenheaver, 1009 East Hay Street, York; Frank Copenheaver, 100 West Pershing Avenue, York; Mrs. Curtis Ernst, 111 North Highland Avenue, West York; Mrs. Alex Lutz, 610 Company Street, York; Mrs. Carl Miller, 121 North West Street, York; John B. Copenheaver, 139 North Queen Street, York, and Elmer Copenheaver, at home.
The funeral will be held on Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home with further services in the United Brethren Church at Jefferson. The Rev. Earl Redding will officiate. Burial will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.
