of the first settlers of that place, died last
Thursday morning. Judge George leaves
many friends in Jewell County who will
sadly miss him.
John's 1st wife was Mary A, she died between 1870 and 1875.
John's 2nd wife was Mrs Catherine (Barnes) Briggs. After John's death, she would marry again to George Robinson.
