Yesterday, we noticed a lot of very fine carriages leaving our depot. They belonged to Mr J W George and were destined for his well-known Jewell City Livery Stables.

The Jewell County Diamond says that on last Monday while Mr J W George's little boy "Weby" was in the timber gathering walnuts, in attempting to go down a steep bank, he caught his feet in something which pitched him forward and striking the bottom on his hands broke both arms. The little fellow walked home, a distance of a mile, without assistance.
