Deceased came to Jewell county with the first husband, John W Briggs, in 1872, homesteading in Walnut township at a time when buffalo still roamed the prairies of this county. Mr Briggs died on his homestead in 1873 and some two years later deceased was united in marriage with John W George then probate Judge of Jewell county. Mr George died in this city a few years ago and by whose side she now rests in the cemetery west of the city.
Mrs Robinson went to El Reno last November and has been visiting there with her only living daughter, Mrs Belle M Gutelius, until her death. Deceased was stricken with apoplexy on Tuesday before her death and never regained consciousness. In accordance with her expressed wish to be laid to rest in the Manako cemetery, the body was brought here for burial, accompanied by her two grandchildren, Mrs Beulah Gutelius and Will Gutelius both of El Reno.
