Death Takes Mrs Enquist
Mrs. Monnie Enquist, 75, of Acme, died Monday at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness.
Maud Arnold was born Feb. 17. 1893 in Bates, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold. She was married March 16, 1911 to Monnie Enquist, who preceded her in death in April, 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Enquist spent mrch of their lives on farms in the Traverse City area and had resided on a farm on Sayior Road until Mr. Enquist's death. Mrs, Enquist then moved to her home in Acme.
She was active in church and community affairs and was a member of the Friendly Fellowship Circle.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Ester Stoll. one grand daushter. Mrs. Jacqueda Gabourie, and one great grandson, Joel Gaboirie all at home; two sisters. Mrs. Frank (Clara) Bothwell of Traverse City and Mrs. Roy (Marie) Zick of Ionia: three brothers, Howard Arnold of Traverse City, W. Homer Arnold of Lansing and Gaylord Arnold of Bates: one aunt, Mrs. Clayton Arnold of Traverse City; and several nieces and neohews.
In addition to her husband and parents, one sister, Mrs. Tom (Alice) Dockery, and one brother Jared Arnold, preceded her in death.
Funeral services wilt be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Martinson funeral .home with burial in Circle Hill cemetery in Williamsburg. Rev. George Franks of the Acme Bible Church will officiate.
