Born in Williamsburg on 11-3-1905, to George and Gertrude (Baynton) Arnold.
On 12-27-1927, he married Lorena Herr, who died in 1953. On 5-15-1958, he married Norma Hilton Bardwell, who survives. Also surviving; sons, Lewis, Richard, Bruce and Darwin. Daughters; Mrs. Wayne E. (Gaylene) Clark, Mrs. Dennis (Pamela) Gary, Mrs. Leonard (Hartha) Hughes and Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Braden. Step-sons; Larry, Dennis and Wayne Hilton, Step-daughter, Mrs. Don (Shirley)Rabourn.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jared, Howard and Homer, and four sisters, Alice Dockery, Clara Buller Bothwell, Maude Enquist and Marie Zick.
Burial in Circle Hill Cemetery, Williamsburg. Etc.
