VARNA LAD SUCCUMBS TO PNEUMONIA

Taken with sudden illness of appendicitis, little Norman Gustav Albin Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Anderson of Varna, was taken to the Streator Hospital where it was discovered that pneumonia had developed and the lad passed away early Saturday morning.
Little Norman Gustav Albin Anderson was born September 6, 1919, near Varna, and passed into the Promised Land, December 6, at the age of 5 years and 3 months, leaving to mourn his loss, his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
He leaves a vacancy in this home which never can be filled, yet what a comfort it is to know that Jesus said, "Suffer Little Children to Come Unto Me and Forbid Them Not for Such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
The funeral services were held at the Swedish Lutheran Church in Varna, IL, Monday afternoon and burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery (First Lutheran # 1)
