The funeral service for Orphie Leslie Alston, 18, fatally injured Sunday afternoon in an automobile accident, was held this morning at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel in Gulfport, with the Rev. Haskell Sellars of Community Baptist Church and the Rev. W. L. Boon of the 15th Street Baptist Church officiating. A quartet from the 15th Street Baptist Church accompanied by Mrs. J. L. Head, organist, sang At the Cross and Shall We Gather at the River. Interment was in the Allen Cemetery with A. D. Cumberland, Arnold Patton, Robert Trebera, Leonard Vancil, Bobby Dunnaway and Raymond Cofield as pallbearers.
