Clarence Orpie Alston, 65 of 200 Switzer, Gulfport, died Wednesday at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans. He was a native of Quitman and had lived on the coast most of his life.He was a retired vice president of the Alston Inc. of Gulfport and a Baptist. He is survived by three sons, Arnold 'Dude', Walter 'Lukey', and Bobby Ray, all of Gulfport; one brother, Bob Alston, and one sister Mrs. Emma Mae Berryhill, both of Memphis, and six grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Riemann funeral home in Gulfport. Services are to be held at l0 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel with burial at the Allen Cemetery.
