HARRY L. AMBROSE, 415 Mitchell Avenue, died Wednesday morning at the Washington County Hospital, aged 56 years. He had been a resident of Hagerstown for the past 31 years. He was born in Luray, Virginia.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Emily (Kingree) Ambrose; daughter, Mrs. Janet Crowell, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. Nellie Ruby, Mt. Jackson, Va.; brothers, Oscar, Greencastle, Pa. and Keller, Woodstock, Va.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Kraiss Mortuary Chapel; further services from the Dellinger Chapel in Mt. Jackson, Va.; interment in Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
