EMILY A. AMBROSE, 87, of 801 Maryland Ave., died Sunday at Washington County Hospital. Born in Hawinkstown, Va., she was the daughter of Thomas and Ollie Kingree.

She had been employed for 20 years at Leiter Brothers in Hagerstown, retiring in 1971. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Cheerful Workers class.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Janet Crowell, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. Mary Irvin, Philmont, Va.; brother, Charles Kingree, Panamora City, Ca.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
