Henry Herman Haverkamp, the son od Peter and Maria Elizabeth Haverkamp, was born at Westfahlen, Germany Sept. 28, 1864 and passed away Jan. 30, 1951 at the age if 86 years 4 montha and 2 days. On March 16, 1893, he was united in marriage to Dina Gelka Klassmeyer at Osage, Nebr. He was confirmed at St. Paul's Evangelical Church at Osage, Nebr., April 6, 1879. He immigraged to America with his parents at the age of 14 and lived in the Osage precinct. He was a farmer and carpenter by trade. He resided in Pawnee county for the past 26 years. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Dina Haverkamp and children Peter of Ronon, Mont., Mary of Los Angeles, Calif., John of Virginia, Nebr., Fred of Burr, Nebr., Jennie of Verdon, Nebr., and Walter of Pawnee City. Raymond of Roundup, Mont., and Frieda of Pawnee City. One son Ulfert, preceded him in death, Aug. 14, 1948. Also 20 grandchildren, three great - grandchildren and one brother of Brunswick, Nebr., and a host of relatives and friends. He was of a kind and loving disposition and a very patient suffererand he leaves a memory which will always be revered. Services were conducted by Rev. Ward Merritt of Humbolt at the Wherry Chapel, Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Feb. 3, and he was laid to rest in the Pawnee City Cemetery.
