Services for Mary Louise Hill, 71, Unionville, Mo., who died on Dec. 18, 1992, at the Putnam Memorial Hospital in Unionville, Mo., were Dec. 21, at the Comstock Funeral Home in Unionville, Mo. Burial was at the Pherigo Cemetery east of Unionville, Mo.

Jim Ingersoll officiated at the service. Music was provided by Shirley Comstock and Joy Butler. Pallbearers were Harold Medlin, Eddie Lloyd, Bud Dixon, James J. Ledford, Johnny Perkins and Lloyd Hill. Honorary pallbearers were Barney Dudley, Dr. Charles L. Judd and Clarence Mitchell.

Louise was born on Nov. 27, 1921, near Pennville, Mo., the daughter of John Samuel Simmons and Ellen Bell. She was married in 1965 in Unionville, Mo. to Carroll Hill.
Louise was raised in Putnam County and attended the rural school. In 1940, she moved to Knoxville and worked at the Waterloo Packing House and was later employed at Rolscreen in Pella. She moved back to Unionville, Mo. In 1964 and was employed at McGraw Edison in Centerville. She retired in 1987 from Banquet Foods in Milan, Mo.

Louise was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William (Bud) Simmons.

Survivors include her husband, Unionville, Mo.; one son, Marvin McDonald of Unionville, Mo.; and one step-daughter, Carolyn Ward of Troy, Mo.; two brothers, Jim Simmons and Vier Simmons, both of Unionville, Mo.; two sisters, Mildred Van Eck of Unionville and Marie Blythe of Knoxville; and seven step-grandchildren.

The Comstock Funeral Home of Unionville was in charge of the arrangements.
