Jenkin Davies, 74, of 2010
South K. street, died Saturday
at 4:45 o'clock at the Ameri-
cana Nursing Home in Ander_
son. He had been ill for the
past several months.
He was born Feb. 20, 1892
in Wales, England, the son of
William and Anne Jones Davis.
He was married to Pearl M.
Hurst, March 25, 1916. She died
Dec. 4, 1963.
He was a retired employe of
Delco-Remy at Anderson and
a member of the retirees club
of Delco-Remy and the old ti-
mers club of Elwood.
Survivors include four child-
ren, Mrs. Velma Porter, Mrs.
Lucille Barnes, William K. Da-
vies and Jack M. Davies, all
of Elwood.
The body is at the Copher and
Fessler funeral home where fri-
ends may call amy time.
Funeral rites will be conduc-
ted at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday af-
ternoon at the Copher and Fes-
ler home. Rev. Joseph T. Rousch
will officiate. Burial will be ma-
de in the Elwood City ceme
tery.
