She was born March 4, 1938 to Nettie and Calvin Carroll. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She loved sewing and loved to quilt.
Preceded in death by parents, husband Walter Byrge, sons, Charles Byrge and Levi Byrge, daughters, Barbara Ann Carroll, Wanda Byrge and Veinee Byrge, granddaughter, Emily Byrge and brother Joe Carroll.
Survivors Children, Johnny Carroll and Wanda Carroll of Briceville, Pauline Byrge, Caryville, Calway Byrge, Caryville; 5 great-grand children; 3 great- grand children; sisters, Inez Carroll, Mina Bell Daughtery and Mindy Patterson, all of Anderson County., Ruthie Byrge, of Caryville; special friends, Jack Arms, Caryville, Marshall Seiber, Caryville.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov., 12 at Beech Fork Baptist Church, Rev. Lee Phillips and Rev. Jim Rutherford officiating. Interment Beech Fork Cemetery. The family will receive frineds 6-8p.m. Tuesday, Nov., 11 at Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home
