Alice Carroll Brock, age 90 of LaFollette formerly of Lake City passed away June 10 at the Tri State Health and Rehab in Harrogate.
She was a member of Beechfork Baptist Church. She was a member of the Campbell County Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening and raising her flowers. She worked in several area restaurants and loved making biscuits.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Link Brock; parents,Calvin and Bethannie Phillips Carroll; sons, Ernest, Leon and Frank Brock; daughter, Christine Kosta; grandson,Jeremy Link Brock.
She is survived by her sons, Oscar Brock of Jacksboro, Everette Brock of Jamestown, David Brock of Clinton; daughters,Grace Station of Toms River, NJ, Nadine Kunich of Bridgewater, NJ, Geraldine Harbon of Knoxville, Sue Woodard of Bristol, Debbie Brock of LaFollette; brothers, Jasper Carroll of Harrogate, Joe Carroll of Devonia; sisters, Ruth Byrge, Inez Carroll, Mendi Patterson, Polly Byrge, Monte Bell Daugherty all of Devonia; 25 grand children; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held June 12 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Marlow officiating. I
Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
