Leta Faye Reeve, the daughter of Charles and Lillie (Jones) Daniel, was born on September 6, 1933 at Lone Grove, Oklahoma. She passed away on July 27, 2009 at her home in Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 27 days.
Leta attended Ardmore Grade School and graduated from Ardmore High School in Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Norman Reeve on June 19, 1953 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This union was blessed with 3 children.
Norman was in the service so together they lived in many communities including,
Lone Grove, and Ardmore, Oklahoma; Colorado Springs, Fairbank and Anchorage, Alaska, Tacoma, Washington, Dover, Delaware, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and making their home in Nelson, Nebraska.
Leta's main purpose and passion in life were her children and grandchildren. Together Norman and Leta enjoyed camping all over the United States, fishing and spending time together.
Leta was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Norma Reeve and 3 sisters, Jewel McCullough, May Robinson and Charlene Daniel.
Survivors include her husband, Norman of Nelson, daughter, Nanette Jenkins of Cisco, Texas and son, Timothy of Nelson, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren: Amy Delany of Ft.
Worth, Texas, Megan Sunday of Hastings, Nebraska, Christal Riddle of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Jerod Reeve of Nelson, Nebraska, and Melanie Reeve of Austin, Texas; 6 great-grandchildren: Christopher Riddle, Bryson Riddle of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Claire, Anthony, and Sophia Delaney of Lincoln, Nebraska and Lillie Sunday of Hastings, Nebraska; two brothers, Leo Daniel of Longview, Texas, and Murrell Daniel and wife Lavern of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and one sister, Wanda McConnell of Ft. Worth, Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Nelson Community United Church of Christ in Nelson, Nebraska with Rev. Dr. Stephen Berry officiating. Recorded music was ,"I'll Fly Away," "When We All See Jesus," and "Holes In The Floor Of Heaven," with Sherone Sader as organist.
Pallbearers were Mike Culbertson, Tom Wilson, Emil Stichka, Gary Warren, Jim Woerner and Gordon Farver . Honorary Pallbearers were Glen & Audrey Sunday,
Geraldine Stichka, Darlene Farver, Sharon Sole, and Becky Woerner.
Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska
