Mr. Daniel passed unto our lord on December 13, 2021, at home after a long illness.

He was born March 7, 1923. Mr. Daniel fought honorably in the US Army during World War II serving from 1943-1945 in the European theatre of the war. After the war he began working for Andrews Tower as a tower technician. He would ultimately find employment with Friedman Industries as a truck driver and be appointed to the position of Vice President of Engineering. He would retire from Friedman Industries after 33 years of faithful service.

Mr. Daniel was a loving father, grandfather, friend, trusted advisor, and lifelong teacher. Leo loved working on the family farm, his primary hobbies were welding, metal work and generally making mechanical things better.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Helen Jo Daniel (Welch). Surviving children include Mark and Keith Daniel and grandchildren Adam, Kaycee, Dustin, Collin and Christian.

Grave side services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 10:00am in the Mausoleum Chapel at Rosewood Park located on FM 1844, Longview, TX 75605. 903/663-0034. Public viewing will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 12-6pm at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., Longview, TX. 903/753-3373
