Age 22 years∼Second Lieutenant Cohen was one of nine
airmen aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-29-40-MO
Superfortress #44-86276 killed in a mid-air
collision at 15,000 feet in the skies over
Weatherford, Texas with another B-29.
There were no survivors of the crash of the
Alamogordo, New Mexico-based bomber.
Seven were killed aboard the other B-29 (two
survived).
Lt. Cohen was from Bronx, New York. A son of
Robert J. (or "I") Cohen.
He was a Navigator.
The aircrew killed were:
