Rhoda's children told descendants about the all night wake they held for their father and they said he was buried on the home farm near Cedar Creek, Rutherford County, North Carolina. Nothing the children said about where their mother was buried survived to today. Rhoda, their mother, died nine years before their father and the family lived in the same house when both died, therefore, we assume they are buried side by side on the home farm.
