When visiting the cemetery lots 155 and 156 it can be seen there are a number of burial plots where people can be buried or are buried and not recorded.

My belief is Paulina is buried there [probably buried between her husband's tombstone and daughter Emma's tombstone] unless they were having a family feud at the time of her death. It is likely that she was buried right there at Minden even if they were having a serious family feud at that time.

See husband Robert Ridlon.

The photo of a map is taken from an 1886/1887 map at the Kearney County Museum. In May township section six a Mrs. Ridlan [Ridlan per map] is the owner. In checking the records at the Kearney County Courthouse Mrs. Ridlan is listed as Paulina Ridlon. I am doing this research because I was asked to by the [Minden] library staff. I have no connection with the Ridlon family, but about 15 months ago I walked much of that quarter section and have in the past because my nephew has farmed that land since 1993.

[Some of the following relationships may or may not be right. I have just been told the relationship and I have no idea on how accurate the data is. Probably accurate. Also I have been told her mother's full name was Sabra Louise (Wheeler) Chase.]

_________
Kathy sent this and I will assume it is accurate:
Full Name: Paulina Hazen (Chase) Ridlon
b. 12 Nov 1816 - Bridgton, Cumberland, Maine, USA
[I found her birth record on ancestry.com
Maine Birth Records, 1621-1922: there was also posted an image of her birth record. The record is a transcription on a Form R-1 "COPY OF AN OLD RECORD OF A BIRTH", that is a certified copy by the Deputy Clerk, Gladys M. Dews. Apparently there is no date when she transcribed the record or I would have posted it in my notes. I hope you can go to ancestry & see for yourself.]
d. 18 Nov 1897 - Juanita, Kearney, Nebraska, USA
Father: Joseph Chase II #27042683
Mother: Sabra Louise (Wheeler) Chase #141109668.

Minden is in Kearney County and the obituary states she died east of Minden. In western Nebraska there is a Wauneta, there is no Juanita, though east of Minden about 25 miles there is Juniata [June E etta], Nebraska but that is not just east of Minden plus Juniata is in Adams Co. rather than Kearney County. I [Jack] am thinking she probably died in Kearney County, east of Minden at her daughters as the obituary states.
