Funeral services for Joe Reed, former resident of Clifford, who died early Sunday morning at his home in Waldron, were held this morning at St. Paul. Burial was made in Garland Brook Cemetery.
Mr. Reed for many years was a blacksmith at Clifford, but retired and left that place six years ago. He had been in good health until last Thursday when he fell and broke several ribs. Pneumonia developed, causing death.
His wife died several years ago. Surviving are two daughters and a son, Mrs. Ida Everroad of Clifford, Mrs. Hattie Perry of New Jersey, and William Reed of Waldron.
