MRS. H. W. FRANKLIN
CRISMAN -- Mrs. Janette Franklin, 76, Crisman, died in Gary's Methodist hospital Thursday evening following a three-week illness.
Born near Vinton, IA., she moved to Crisman in 1939. She was the wodow of the Rev. H. W. Franklin, former pastor of Garyton Community church.
She was a member of the Fulton, IN., Eastern Star.
Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Nina Nicholson of Crisman, Mrs. Bernie Peyton of Garyton, Mrs. Estella Clemans of Fulton, Mrs. Francis Horner of Indianapolis, Mrs. Naomi Hinshaw of Tucson; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Edward McKinley of Brandon, IA., and Merton McKinley of Sidney IA.; three sisters, Mrs. Angie Franklin o Vinton, Mrs. Lura Schaefferof Brandon, and Mrs. Elizabeth Hinz of Vinton.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hope Lutheran church, Crisman. The Rev. S.L. Klopfer will officiate, and burial in McCool Cemetery.
Pflughoeft Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
