John "Jack" Pierson Lodge, a partner of Lodge Hardware for the past 44 years, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday at his residence, 230 Green Road, after an illness of six weeks. He was 63.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison, he was the son of the Anna and the late Irwin Lodge.
He was a member of the Madison United Presbyterian Church, and of the Indiana Hardware Association.
Survivors in addition to his mother, are: his widow, Betty; a son, John, Hanover; three brothers: Boone, Gavin and William, all of Madison; two sisters: Miss Mary Emily Lodge and Mrs. Jean Bunton, both of Madison; two grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lytle Mortuary, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
