Irwin Chester Lodge, a partner of Lodge Hardware Company, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at his home on route five after an illness. He was 52.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison, he was the son of Mrs. Anna Lodge, Madison, and the late Irwin Lodge, who died in 1925. He was a partner in the Lodge Hardware Store here with two brothers, Jack and Bill.
He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Madison United Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Madison Elks Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his mother and two brothers, are two other brothers, Boone and Gavin, both of Madison; two sisters: Miss Emile Lodge and Mrs. Jean Bunton, both of Madison; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lytle Mortuary with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m today.
