Death Summons Jessie M.Lodge; Funeral Monday

Miss Jessie Mae Lodge expired last night at 9:50 o'clock at the family home on highway 56-62, north of Hanover. Her death terminated an extended illness.

Miss Lodge was born in Madison and was a life resident of this community. She was a daughter of Mrs. Anna Lodge and the late Irwin Lodge, and was 47 years of age.

A graduate of Madison high school, she attended parochial business college here, and for more than 20 years served as bookkeeper for the Lodge Hardware company, a family retail store.

Miss Lodge was a member of the Madison Presbyterian church and the Tri Kappa sorority. She lived in Madison until the family built its present residence near Hanover.

Surviving besides her mother are two sisters and five brothers, Miss Emile Lodge, at home, and Mrs. Paul L. Bunton, of Fairmount; Jack, Howard B. and Gavin Knox Lodger, of Greater Madison, and Irwin C. and William L. Lodge, at home. She also leaves nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death in 1925 by her father, and in 1952 by a brother, Robert Knox Lodge.

Services will be conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Lytle Mortuary with burial in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence after 8 o'clock tonight, and until 9 o'clock Sunday night.
