OBIT #1: Anna Ewing was born Feb 10, 1895 and died Nov 2, 1918, age 23 yrs 8 months and 25 days. She professed faith in Christ 7 years ago and united with the Pleasant Grove Baptist church and remained a faithful member until death. She will be greatly missed at Pleasant Grove and Burnt Prairie churches, as well as in the home and among her friends. To know her was to love her. She leaves father, mother, 4 sisters, 4 brothers and many other relatives and friends.

She had been ill with influenza for a few days and complications arose which baffled medical skill. Rev. McCann of Albion conducted the funeral service at the home on Sunday afternoon. Interment was made at Pleasant Grove cemetery.
