Funeral rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. Larry Music officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Johnson Chapel from 6 to 8 Thursday evening (tonight).
She was born in Wayne County Jan. 29, 1909, the daughter of George and Emma Vaughn Ewing. She was married to Lyman Elliott. He passed away in 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents, an infant daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Elliott attended the Calvary Church east of Fairfield.
Surviving are four sons, Ed Elliott, of Fairfield; Bill Elliott, of Silver City, N. Mex., Melvin Elliott, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Carroll Elliott, of Lady of the Lake, Fla.; one sister, Veda Elliott, of Fairfield; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
