In the Census records, Hezekiah is listed as a farmer; however, the oral family history says that he operated a huckster wagon with a team of horses, and there are photos that show the family with the covered huckster wagon. According to oral history, it took one day to traverse from Uniontown to Seymour and acquire goods. Then it would take another day to travel back home. It is assumed that he drove the horses and huckster wagon around the neighborhood to sell goods. Bev Weddell
